  1. I think the S.U.C.C.E.S.s method would work wonderfully for certain subject areas, but not for all. It is difficult, in my opinion, to evoke emotion and unexpectedness with subjects such as math. I believe that there are definitely some areas in math that emotion and unexpectedness could be used, but most likely not on an everyday basis. However, the other aspects of S.U.C.C.E.S.s could probably work for all teaching areas, including math. Simplicity is probably the portion of S.U.C.C.E.S.s that would be most meaningful to me. If something is too wordy or difficult to understand, it really has little or no meaning and is most unlikely to stick.
